The Origin
How Modeste Clothing Began
Rooted in Itori, Ewekoro, Ogun State, Modeste Clothing started with a simple yet urgent observation shared by Muslim women across Nigeria: the quest for modest wear too often involved frustrating compromises.
The Modesty Dilemma
Off-the-rack garments were frequently semi-sheer, required uncomfortable extra layers in our tropical climate, or lacked the generous drape and silhouette needed for authentic Islamic coverage.
